Red sounds like  a temper.

Red smells like a mint.

Blue looks like the ocean.

In May we  do mills in may. Mills in May is were you run in May around the track. If you run 5 times around the track you get a foot.Mills in May is to get your brain pump’ t and focus.Would you like to do mills in May?

I am going to tell you about leadership.I am a leader at school because I volunteer in class.At home I help my brother but my sister help’s me.Who help’s you?That is why I am a leader!

Today we are goal setting.My goal is to hit a home run during this season. If I don’t then I will practice  more in the batting cage.What is your goal?

Tanzania is a country in East Africa.In Tanzania they do not have electricity. The largest city in Tanzania is dar es salaam.Some children live so far from school,they have to live at school.We are so blessed.

Spring is fun

spring  is still during school.

Are you ready to learn about smolt?  Smolt are about the size of a real salmon and still have their parr marks. After the smolt’s long journey down to the ocean they still have to adapt to the salt water.  They eat bugs, plankton, and smaller fish.  They have a lot of predators.  Bears, bald eagles, sea  lion and osprey to name several.  Did you know a smolt can swim more than 10,000 miles?Hope you had fun learning about smolt!

Do you want to learn about fry and Parr?  Fry are twice the size of elvin!   When the yolk sack is all used up, the bottom of the fry is silver. They are about three-four cm.  They have teeth, scales and fins.  If they develop black marks they are called parr.

They left the redd so they live in the open water. They eat fish eggs, water insects and plankton.  Bigger fish and birds are threats.

Fry use their swim bladder for the first time to move in the water.
