Alevin are amazing.  Alevin are about 1 inch long.  They have tiny tales and no fins when they hatch, and a yolk sac attached to their belly.  They live in a redd with rock and woody debris because the need to hide from predators.  Do you know how alevin get their food?  Alevin get their food from the yolk sac.  The alevin is growing quickly as it gets its nutrients from its yolk sack.  Many predators eat alevin like fish and birds.  Different types of salmoon have different looking alevin.  Alevin are the best!
